Ms Laila Jahar

Ms. Jahar graduated with a degree in Management, Economics, and Law from The Hague University of professional education in The Netherlands.  She has come to teaching after working in finance and management for a global financial institution. She completed her PGCE training in Secondary Mathematics at Roehampton University and has work experience in both the public and private education sector. Her teaching experiences include teaching KS3 and KS4.

Her passion for mathematics stems from her school days where she enjoyed her maths lesson and the opportunity to solve problems. She aims to teach maths by challenging and encouraging students and by focusing on improving students’ confidence and ability in using mathematics, to improve attainment at GCSE.
