This year World Book Day is on Thursday 4th March 2021, however we have decided to delay this until all children are back in school, to celebrate reading books, authors and illustrators. We will be celebrating this great event on Friday 12th March 2021, by asking children and staff to come to school dressed as their favourite book character.
Children are asked to think about their favourite characters and arrive at school on Friday 12th March 2021 morning in their costume with their favourite book. Costumes can be as intricate or simple as you decide. Please consider children’s mobility in the playground and the possibility of losing elements of detailed costumes. There will be a parade within each ‘bubble’ on the day where children will have the opportunity to see other children dressed up.
