Get Ready for the Book Fair!!

Al Khair Prep School will be celebrating reading during next weeks ‘Book Week’. We are very lucky to be working in partnership with Usborne Books, have organised a sponsored read, whereby all children are encouraged to read for a week and have family and friends sponsor them. The Money raised from the sponsorship and Book Fair will help buy much needed books for children at Al Khair Prep. We have also invited the author, Matt Brown, to speak to our children, as part of ‘Book Week’.
On Friday 31st January 2020, Usborne Book Fair will be selling a range of wonderful engaging and affordable books at every reading level and we hope that Parents/Carers will be able to come with their child to purchase a book of their choice. The school will benefit from all purchases made during the book sale. The money raised from all 3 events will be used to buy new books for the school library, and in addition, Usborne also will donate up to 60% of the total raised in EXTRA FREE BOOKS to the school. So for every £600 raised we will get an extra £360 in FREE Usborne books!

Jazakhallah Khair to the ongoing support of friends and family of Al Khair Prep School. The PTA has been working very hard getting the new library ready, and fundraising towards books for the school, and are getting ready for the big opening next week.
We hope parents will continue to support us, to provide our children, with the best possible school experience. We look forward to seeing you all at next Friday’s, Book Fair.
