Hilary Sanderson (Education Gov- Curriculum)
|I started my career as a peripatetic music teacher, mainly for violin, piano and voice, moving into general class teaching after a couple of years. I then spent 30 years covering various subjects including ICT and music with 3-13 year olds in maintained and independent schools, and am currently working part-time in a children’s nursery with 0-4 year olds as well as being a part-time PA for an education consultant.
When not working, I love to sing with small ensembles or as a soloist, and enjoy playing the violin and dancing for a Morris dancing side. I’ve also recently started learning to play the melodeon. I have been a governor at our local village school for the last 7 years and am delighted to join Al Khair School Board of Governors.
